Hi, I am Bishop Greene, Mascot Sensei, I started in high school, then took the stage as Sammy the Bearkat at Sam Houston State. That journey rolled into professional fun with the Midland RockHounds and Odessa Jackalopes, where I learned how to read every crowd.
That experience helped me shape Top Gunner into a character who connects with kids, parents, and diehard sports fans at every event.
I bring award-winning mascot energy, real experience, and genuine local pride to every single appearance.
I have spent more than twenty years learning how to light up crowds and keep families smiling safely.
Top Gunner became the first mascot in Texas to earn NAL Mascot of the Year honors.
I show up for schools, youth games, and community events, always focused on building shared memories together.
The story of Top Gunner starts when I was asked to help shape a brand-new arena football mascot. The WTX Warbirds shared the same arena where I performed for the Odessa Jackalopes, and the owner saw how I worked the crowd.
He asked if I would become the face of that franchise, and I jumped at the chance to create something special.
My path runs between buzzing high school gyms and packed college stadiums into professional baseball and hockey nights. Every stop taught me how to turn a quiet moment into a roar and a nervous kid into a high-fiving fan.
That same heart now lives in Top Gunner, ready to bring that energy to your next big day.
